Thanks to the National Lottery fund for schools we have received £7,400.00
We will use this money to create a school garden with help from the Conservation Volunteers.
The garden will be a space for the children to relax, talk to friends, learn about wildlife and to investigate aspects of our curriculum topics.
Each class has recently been out planting vegetable seeds in our garden! Gary from Inver Garden Centre came to help us and give us lots of advice on planting and growing! We are hoping that some of our lettuce will grow and we can taste it in June.
All of the lovely daffodils that you can see around the school have been planted by the school garden club last September – so we are pleased to see the beautiful results of our hard work!
We also have tadpoles in our pond so we are looking forward to seeing them grow!
